The weather on the coast

The weather pattern is getting coastal. Sunny for a few days then the fog and drizzle. It comes in the evening and and then burns off around noon. It's nice as long as it doesn't stick around to long. It keeps the plants water and the dust down.

This past Saturday the weather was postcard perfect! I'm looking forward to the summer weather. I'll be making a few trips out of town to the Oregon high desert, and to Northern Nevada. I'll get my high/dry heat fix then. What's your thoughts on the Coastal weather?

The San Mateo County Coastside real estate inventory for the middle of May 2010. Real Estate has been in the news nationally and internationally over the past year or two. It has had major impacts on the financial markets, related industries, and many personal lives. With that said real estate is very localized. Inventory which is determined looking at active and pending sales can vary widely. On the coast between Half Moon Bay and Montara.

This is what I found:

36 homes priced at $600,000 and under, a 2.25 month supply of inventory.

16 homes sale pending under $600K

This means it would theoretically take two months to sell all the homes currently for sale.

Homes priced from $600K - $800K a 2.3 month supply

30 homes for sale in this range

13 homes sale pending in this range

Homes priced from $800K - $1m 14 month supply

28 homes for sale

2 sale pending

Homes priced over $1,000,000 12.5 months of inventory

50 homes for sale over $1m

4 homes sale pending in this range.
